Sigrist has over sixty years of experience in the design and manufacture of turbidimeters for a wide variety of applications. Used worldwide, Sigrist turbidimeters are applied in breweries, water treatment plants, wineries, pharmaceuticals, and chemical applications.
1. TurBiScat PM 40 NEW PRODUCT!
In-Line Turbidimeter for hazardous areas.

The TurBiScat PM 40 measures turbidity in beverages, optional also colour in beer; MEBAK / EBC / ASBC conform. The TurBiScat thus additionally becomes an inline colour meter. The combination of Hastelloy and Saphir in a sealless design allows use in virtually all processes applications. The TurBiScat PM 40 determines turbidity with optimum colour compensation using scattered light measurement and is MEBAK/EBC compliant.

2. TurBiScat 2 Ex
In-Line Turbidimeter for hazardous areas.

The TurBiScat 2 Ex measures turbidity in liquids. The transmitted light and the scattered light are measured at 90° and 25°. In this way, the proportions of smaller or larger particles become visible and colour and window contamination are compensated for. Optionally, there is the possibility of an additional colour measurement at 430 nm. The calibration is checked with a solid reference. The TurBiScat 2 Ex is conceived and designed for applications in explosion-protected areas.

3. AquaScat 2 HT
On-line Turbidimeter (ISO 7027) with free fall flow cell for high turbidities.

The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 in a free-falling water stream. This contactless design eliminates window foiling and minimizes servicing which is especially of importance with the version HT for high turbidity. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference to be mounted when performing the check.

4. AquaScat 2 P
On-line Turbidimeter (ISO 7027) for pressurized measurement.

The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 and is specially designed for installations with highly gaseous water under pressure. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference that is mounted when performing the check.

5. AquaScat 2 WTM
On-line Turbidimeter (ISO 7027) with free fall flow cell with high resolution.

The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 using 90+° scattered light detection in a free-falling water stream. This contactless design eliminates window foiling and minimizes servicing to a minimum. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit that is either mounted to perform the check or that is already built in (depending on variant).

6. AquaScat S
In-line turbidity measurement for the water treatment.

The AquaScat measures the turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027, with the measurement carried out directly in the water. This reduces maintenance work to a minimum. The calibration is done with a checking unit that is installed when needed. Various customer wishes can be catered for with the different options for data visualization and connection to a PLC/SCADA. Thanks to the different process integration options, a solution can be found for virtually any requirement.

7. LabScat 2
Dual-Angle Lab Turbidimeter.

The LabScat monitors turbidity in liquids, using a single light source to detect transmitted light and scattered light at 90° and 25°. This allows colour-compensated dual-angle measurement according to MEBAK and EBC standard, in bottles and glass cuvettes. Bottle rotation and water-bath minimize disturbing influences, the quality of the water bath is monitored. Operation is done via a colour touchscreen. No tools are required for routine maintenance. Calibration check is simply performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference, which is part of the scope of supply. Sample ID and handling measuring data are performed using digital interfaces (USB, Ethernet with web browser).

8. PhaseGuard
In-line Phase Switch for Turbidity or Colour.

The PhaseGuard monitors phase transitions of turbidity or colour. Three models of the PhaseGuard cover the possible applications: phase switch for turbidity (model T), for colour (model C), for high turbidity (model HT). The PhaseGuard is factory adjusted with a universal measuring range based on absorption. For simple applications and system integration the instrument configuration and communication can be easily done using the serial interface in combination with the existing outputs. For a more comfortable installation and operation the optional control unit SICON with touch screen technology and colour display can be connected.

9. TurbiGuard
In-line Turbidity Monitor for Medium to High Turbidity.

The TurbiGuard is used for monitoring medium to high turbidity, in process liquids. A single version of the TurbiGuard featuring two measuring ranges can be widely used for monitoring medium to high turbidity. The TurbiGuard is factory calibrated with a true, linearized Formazine calibration. For simple applications and system integration the instrument configuration and communication can be easily done using the serial interface in combination with the existing outputs. For a more comfortable installation and operation the optional control unit SICON with touch screen technology and colour display can be connected.

10. TurBiScat
In-Line Turbidimeter.

The TurBiScat monitors turbidity in liquids, optional also the (beer)colour in EBC. The combination of Hastelloy and sapphire in a sealless design allows operating the unit in practically all process applications. Turbidity measurement is done with colour compensation. Window fouling is monitored, compensated and can be checked using an anti-fouling control. Calibration is easily done using a secondary reference standard.
