Bleeding and Venting Valves

Bleeding and venting valves remove or admit air or gases automatically from/to tanks, vessels or pipelines. They are float-controlled valves which close as the liquid level rises and open as the level falls.

1. Sturdy Valves of Cast Steel - EB 1.10, 1.11
are float-controlled robust valves made of spherical-graphite cast iron or cast steel to handle large air volumes e.g. in sand filters. The internal components are made of stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion-resistance. Up to 130 °C the valve cone is fitted with a soft seal, up to 200 °C the seal is metallic. EB 1.11 is fitted with an external float and specially suitable for foaming and contaminated media.
Data Sheet

2. Compact Standard Bleeding Valve - EB 1.12
are compact and lightweight float-controlled valves for water treatment (incl. ozone), pipelines, petrol tanks etc. They are manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) featuring excellent corrosion-resistance. The valve cone can be fitted with a soft or metallic seal. There are three bodydesigns for small, medium or big flow rates available.

3. Large Sized Cast Bleeding and Venting Valve - EB 1.20
are float-controlled robust valves made of spherical-graphite cast iron to handle large air volumes e.g. in sand filters. The internal components are made of made of Cr/CrNiMo-steel/red brass and the float is made of CrNiMo-steel. Up to 130 °C the valve cone is fitted with a soft seal; up to 200 °C the seal is metallic.
Data Sheet

4. Compact Standard Bleeding Valve - EB 1.32
is a compact and lightweight float-controlled valves for water treatment (incl. ozone), pipelines, petrol tanks etc. They are manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The valve cone is fitted with a soft seal.

5. Bleeding and Venting Valve with sight glass - EB 1.48
is a float-controlled, compact and lightweight device for water treatment (also ozone), pipelines, fuel tanks etc. The valves are made of deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) featuring a high corrosion-resistance. The valve cone is provided with a soft seal. The function can be viewed through the sight glass.
Data Sheet

6. for Start-up and Continuous Operation - EB 1.74
is a combined start-up/continuous bleeding/venting valve with float control. It is manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) featuring excellent corrosion-resistance. The valve cone can be fitted with a soft or metallic seal.
Data Sheet

7. Combined Valve for Dirty or Waste Water - EB 1.84
is a combined start-up/continuous bleeding/venting valve with float control for waste water and effluents as well as foaming media. The enlarged float chamber prevents contact between the dirty water and the upper part of the closing mechanism. It is manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) featuring excellent corrosion-resistance. The valve cone can be fitted with a soft or metallic seal.
Data Sheet

8. Valve for Very Llarge Air Volumes - EB 3.50
is a float-controlled start-up bleed valve. Its body is made of steel whilst the internal components are manufactured from stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The float is precisely guided in the outlet spigot. The valve cone is fitted with a soft seal. The minimum pressure required for valve sealing is 0.3 bar. If small air volumes have to be bled during continuous operation, a dual bleed valve should be used.
Data Sheet

9. For Minimal Closing Pressure - EB 3.51
is a float-controlled start-up bleeding valve. It is completely made of deep-drawn stainless steel parts featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The float is exactly guided in the inlet connection. The valve seat is of the soft seal type. The minimum pressure for the valve seal amounts only 0,05 bar.
Data Sheet

10. Universal Valve - EB 3.52
is a float-controlled start-up bleed valve manufactured completely from deep-drawn stainless steel components featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The float is precisely guided in the outlet spigot. The valve cone is fitted with a soft seal. The minimum pressure required for valve sealing is 0.3 bar.
Data Sheet

11. Bleeding and venting valves for pperating pressures up to 63bar - EB 6.32
are float-controlled, compact and lightweighted bleeding and venting valves for particular applications and special media. Thanks to its fully developed lever mechanism, the valve is suitable for media from a density of 468 kg/m³. They are manufactured from stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The valve cone can be fitted with a soft or metallic seal.
Data Sheet

12. Valve for highest Flow Rates - EB 6.54
is a float-controlled combined start-up and continuous bleeding and venting valve consisting of a main valve for start-up bleed and a continuous bleeding and venting valve built-on laterally. The valve cone is provided with a soft seal, and the minimum pressure for the valve seal is to be 0.3 bar.
Data Sheet

13. Epoxy-coated Cast Valve for water - FOX 3F (EB 1.75)
The FOX 3F (EB 1.75) bleeding and venting valves are float-controlled, compact devices for water. The housings are made of spheroidal graphite iron with a continuous epoxy coating. The valve cone is soft-sealed. The minimum pressure for the valve seal is 0.2 bar for PN 16 and 0.3 for PN 25.
Data Sheet

14. Valve made of Duplex or Superduplex - GOLIA 3F (EB 1.76)
is a combined startup and continuous bleeding and venting valve with guided float. During startup large air quantities are discharged at low pressure via a large seat. If the bleeding valve is closed and further small volumes of air accumulate during continuous operation, a second seat arranged within the float opens and discharges the accruing air. The large cone does not open until the level is going down at simultaneous pressure release. In the event of a vacuum the valves open immediately.
Data Sheet

15. Epoxy-coated Cast Valve for Waste Water - SCF (EB 1.85)
The SCF (EB 1.85) is a float-controlled bleeding and venting valve for wastewater and sewage as well as for foaming media. An enlarged float housing prevents contact between the wastewater and the upper section of the closing mechanism.
